For those who prefer to browse for F1online images longer, instead to convert metric sizes in pixel dimensions. To check whether the given image format fits into the own layout, we have introduced a new line of information. A seemingly small change with a big impact. In the future, the specific pixel dimensions* of your selected image are given in the detailed view of our RF images and of the RM and RF images when you check out at the shopping cart. This saves you the hassle of calculating and thus time. Of course, the previous metric version, print size in DIN format at 300dpi, remains.
* The pixel specification of the brands and AGE and Pixtal is not available yet.

With a bit of sadness, we look back to the time when the image search was a pure visual pleasure. Today and in the existing amounts of images, you really need tools and talents that are not necessarily visually and have nothing to do with the art of photography. The most important helpers in the image research is the language. With a feeling for language and the instinct for the right keywords, you can isolate the desired picture perfectly and find it ultimately . And exact this goal unites us.
From our international image-providing partner agencies and our own photographers who submitted photos are pre-tagged in many different ways, in various languages ??and different opinions. Sometimes terms are ambiguous or even wrong, sometimes automated translations produce some funny, some very elusive stylistic howler. Turkey is a brilliant example. It could be the Country, the animal or a health condition. Or what is meant with trunk? A lot to do for our keyworder.
F1online, one of the first fully digital picture agencies in Germany, has been involved in the early days with this essential, now the science matured, topic. Behind our website is a highly complex individually programmed backend and a stunning database with more than 7 million images and a multiple of related keywords in two languages??, English and German. Not visible for our customers, in the shadow of the digital images jungle are growing tag trees. Prioritization rules and algorithms manage sortation before, refer and give out results.
In communication with you our search engine will be clearer and more efficient. Regardless of what you are looking for, we take great care that you will find it. Give us feedback on the result of your images search. We have devised a simple principle with comment function and implemented it in our website. This innovation will help to optimize our system for you.

In order to a awaken a seed from its dormancy water, warmness and oxygen is needed. At the beginning of the growing process, it is feeded by the bonded oils and proteins. Are these rejuvenator depleted, photosynthesis takes over the production of energy. The germ will become an offspring, then a plant.
In each state, plants are able to share their energies with us humans. As an air purifier, as a material, as a natural scent dispenser or sun shade. Ultimately, and this is probably the greatest blessing, as food. They are also an inexhaustible source of inspiration. They serve us ideas, in a concrete form, as well as figuratively.
Of particular note is the historical collection of plant studies, mostly sprouts and buds, from the sculptor and photographer Karl Blossfeldt (* 1865 - † 1932). The systematic photographic work of the later Berlin art professor was published in 1928 and was called "Urformen der Kunst" (basic forms of art). This book is a milestone in the history of photography. We are delighted that around 100 of these beautiful works are available at F1online.
One of the most beautiful aspects of winter is the immediately following spring. The so called early bloomers, such as snowdrops, crocus and pussy willow conjure ourselves into a wide smile. and give us new vitality, energy and inspiration.
We should do everything to ensure that this remains so. Nature will thank us.
